Entry #1 Spike & Buddy - My daughter Sarah snapped this photo of Spike (bottom) and Buddy (top) during one of those "I can't believe I got that shot" magical moments. We brought Spike back from Iceland and decided to get Buddy as his "little buddy" to keep him company. We titled the photo "Guess who just farted!"

Entry #6 Tugboat - This is TugBoat. He is a 8week old Boston/ Pug. He was the runt of the litter. While he was only 2pounds his siblings rivaled him at Whopping 5pounds or better. He loves to play fetch and thinks he is a huge GreatDane with the other animals.

Entry #14 Rhone - This is Rhone, a one year old goldendoodle. He is the love of my life, I got him after a painful divorce and he has been so therapeutic for me during this time. He loves loves loves to fetch, play with other dogs, and pull the stuffing out of toys. He has a new found love of swimming too. Thanks for your consideration, he was about 6 months old in this photo. He comes to work with me and I happened to snap this photo one day at work. Just thought it was too cute!

Entry #21 Lily - This is Lily she's a little over a year she is a Boston terrier. Lily is different though she has a blue and a brown eye and she's black and brindle she's very cool looking and she's our big baby. We actually found Lily on the computer she came from a breeder here in Jacksonville Florida and someone bought her and ended up not having time for her she was in a crate for 23 hours out of the day we felt very bad for her. That's when we said we have to have her and spoil her. Lily loves water doesn't matter what kind the beach, lake, pond or even water sprinklers she also has her very own pool that she loves on these hot summer days. Also Lily loves to go on her afternoon walks with my husband and I she chases the squirrels up the trees and greets her local dog friends throughout the neighborhood. She definitely never meets a stranger she loves everyone and really loves kids. Oh yea she loves to dress up!


Entry #22 Bono - Bono my 8 year old Siberian husky, he is a very sweet boy, he likes cheese, peanut butter, ice cream, and napping, he is a very picky eater and extremely spoiled. He can be very vocal if there is something that he wants. Bono is big brother to Baileys and they are inseparable, they go everywhere together and have never been apart. When Bono lost his soul mate I had to replace her immediately because he got extremely depressed and refused to be alone. He is named after the lead singer of U2.


Entry #23 - Baileys is my little baby Siberian husky, she is quite the little sassy girl as you can tell from her strut, she loves food, ice cream, napping, swimming, digging, snuggling, and playing with toys, she is a very loving little girl and she can almost always be found sitting at my feet or on me. I got baileys via the internet when Bono’s soul mate passed away and this is the picture that made me fall in love with her prior to actually meeting her. She is a great addition to our family and a great companion for Bono.

Entry #25 - Kiwi - This is Kiwi and she is almost a year old and we swear her tongue is too long for her mouth. She is always sticking her tongue out and this is a picture to prove how long her tongue is. There should be a caption under the picture that reads: Look Mommy, where did my nose go........


Entry #26 Belle - this is my precious puppy, Belle. We have only had her one week, and she’s already such a huge part of our family. She’s a miniature schnauzer/beagle mix, which we adopted from a family who spent very little time with her. On our walks she makes sure to get all the attention on her! Her very favorite thing to do is just lounge with her pink rope all over the house. We are so glad she has joined our family!


Entry #27 Trey - The photo titled "big foot" is of my boxer Trey when he was a young boy. I am sure that he was dreaming of the days when he would grown into his feet and stop being the goofy klutz that he was as a puppy. A year later, he is still a goof-ball, but not as much of a klutz.


Entry #28 Trey and Keeva - The photo titled "dog love" is of my boxer Trey and dutch shepherd Keeva. Keeva had a sore on her foot that required her to wear an e-collar to keep her from licking it. Trey proved that it did not matter what you looked like, or what you were wearing, a dog's love is unconditional; especially since Keeva's self-confidence was really low.

Entry #31 Lucy - This is Lucy the 10 month old Boston Terrier. She lives in Minnesota with her mom and dad who will be getting married in August, and Lucy can't wait! Here she is all dressed up for mom's birthday party, where she was the official greater, and security of the party!


Entry #32 - Mr. Wilbur - This is Mr. Wilbur he's a little piggy loves to smile,eat,sleep and cuddle with his manatee he puts his paws around it lol. He even carries his baby manatee around in his mouth he's quite a character. I know you may think this sounds silly but he can even talk he says hellwowww it's so funny. He's just our big boy and we love him to death he weighs almost 18 pounds and thinks he's part dog he even fetches his little sqooshie ball we have for him. So here ya go this is Mr. Wilbur and his baby manatee lol.

Entry #35 - Mickelangelo is a purebred chihuahua. I got him when he was about 4 weeks. He was super growly. Now he is but not as much, only becuase a bone or favorite toy. He is my baby though!! When he is happy to see me he puts his ears back and lifts his legs and looks like a marching horse!!!

Entry #41 Recon and Athena - These are my baby's, Recon he's 1/2 blue Merl collie and 1/2 great Pyrenees and Athena she's a husky. They love to play and chase each other. They love to eat cheese puffs and ginger snap cookies.

They are great danes and they love to go for walks down at the sprint family fun days cause they get tons of attention. They are big lovers and the best dogs ever. My male is so funny he will sit like a human on the couch.

Entry #46 Luna - 9 month old Jack Russell Terrier she became apart of our family on May 31,2008. Her previous owner could no longer keep her. As you can see she is one awesome dog. She owns her own Fire Hydrant (which is a real one) she loves her time at the local dog parks and other parks throughout the Kansas City area. She has her own web site on facebook, has had her first walk on role in the Independent Film 'CRUSH' and has had her photos published on a web site for doggie bandanas and collars. She is a true ham to the camera and we enjoy her every minute of the day.


Entry #47 Cecil - This is our brussels griffon doggy, Cecil, but everyone who is close to him calls him Big F She! He is 1 1/2 years old. His birthday is January 7th. Cecil is an amazing dog! He escaped the apartment and got hit by a car last November and wasn't expected to live. He lived, and walked, and ran, and jumped!!! You would never know he had that accident! He is the happiest dog you will ever meet and he brings joy to EVERYONE round him. In this picture, Cecil is playing X-Box 360 with his dad.

Entry #49 Kirby-He's happy to have a forever home! We rescued Kirby when he was about 7 months old. He'd been abused previously and he's fearful of people. He's come a long way and we hope he will someday forget all the bad things people did altogether. He's a funny, silly boy!

Entry #51 Stitch - He is a two year old French bulldog. My husband and I rescued him from a backyard breeder who kept him in a TINY kennel 24/7. We named him Stitch because he looked like the alien from the movie Lilo and Stitch because he has huge ears and buggy eyes. This is a picture of him being the ring bearer at our wedding but the top hat is covering his huge ears!. He was so so handsome! His favorite past-times are snoring and farting.


Entry #52Harley - This is my dog Harley, he is a yorkanian (yorkie/pom mix).He is the best dog in the world. He is only about 4lbs. He loves to cuddle and play. He is a great watchdog. He came into my family when he was a few months old. I traveled 4 1/2 hours round trip to get him. He sleeps with me and follows me everywhere and loves to cuddle on my chest. He had just come from the groomer in this photo

Entry #54 Gypsy Rose. I snapped this when she woke up from a nap. Gypsy's likes are walks, her toys and playing with her dog friend, Rommell. Her dislikes are being alone and baths. She is one years old and her breed is Beagle, Lab, German Shephard.


Entry #55 Nietzsche of the Hill is my triple registered German Shepard. He is 9 months old and weight 90 lbs. He has been thru primary obedience school and is going to more training to finish. His previous owners traded me for a parrot. He is beautiful and turns heads wherever we go.

Entry #57 Tweety - this is my oldest son with our cockatiel Tweety! She is such a sweet heart and for some reason loves to sit on Cadens head!!! I think he was worried she was going to poo on him or something! Hehe

Entry #59 Hercules is a 10 month old Saint Bernard we adopted back in March. This dog lovessss to play, especialy in the water! He even sits in the bathtub in the morning. I never seen such an adorable saint bernard (but of course I am his mommy!)

Entry #68 Rudy. He is a Golden retriever. We got him in Nov after we had to send our beloved 7yr old golden "Jack" to Doggy heaven. (he suddenly got very sick with cancer). We were all very sad and still miss him soo much BUT we have RUDY!!!! As you can see he loves the water and to soak in the tub!!!


Entry #69 Four Kids - We have 4 furkids that have their own space to sleep in. Last one, Tasha , waits & hopes she will be invited to Mommy & Daddy's bed (although she waits in vain.) Our Min Pin, then the ever hopeful Pomeranian (with a touch of chihuahua),our one year old Papillon, and last is our Toy Fox Terrier.


Entry #70 Three Guard Dogs - We have 3 guard dogs on duty, barking at every passing leaf or imagined attacker. No body gets by when my "dog bells' go off..They work together like a team & take up their positions. But they have the sweetest temperaments. Each one is more lovable than the other. And each one has some different bazaar quirk that makes her more lovable than the others!


Entry #71 Gemma - Hi my name is Gemma! I'm half pomeranian & half poodle. I'm super hyper and love to play. I was born on March 3, 2008. I'm really tiny, I only weigh about 4lbs but I'm getting bigger every day. My best friends name is Spot, he's an american staffordshire terrier, we love to play together and get into trouble, thats what we're good at (besides being cute).


Entry #72 Crabby - This is a photo of one of my rescue dogs his name is Crabby. He came fromspca on Brookpark road Cleveland Ohio, someone rescued him from the Cleveland Kennelthe day before they were going to put him down. He had one heck of a hard life beforehe came to live with me. When I first got him he would not let you touch him or hold him,he was afraid of every body. He had almost every bone broke in his body he was blindand he could not here very good. I had him for about two years before he passed away.and about 8 months to a year after I got him he was the BEST DOG I HAVE EVER HAD!He loved every one in the house. He was about 14 years old when he passed away.And the day he passed away he wanted for me to get home from work to do so. As soon as I got home I went to him and picked him up and gave him a kiss and told him mommies homeI told him I loved him like every day when I got home but this day after all that he looked at meand took a deep breath and laid his head down on my arm and that was his last moment.I MISS HIM SO MUCH HE WAS SO GREAT!!!!!!!!!!


Entry #73 LuLu - LuLu loves to cuddle under the covers. She will take my blanket on the bed and pull it over her and lay down on my pillow. I've only had LuLu since April 15th but I can't imagine what the house would be like without her. She is adorable and my kids absolutely love her!

Entry #82 Diamond - My little yorkie's name is Diamond and she is 7 months old today (July 8, 2008). We’ve had Diamond since February (a puppy mill rescue) and continue to spoil her rotten. She loves car rides and walks. She is very social and loves people (especially kids) and other animals so we are starting a basic dog training class today. Since my husband is an Air Force Pilot, Diamond keeps me company when he's gone and since we don't have any kids she has her own room (the spare bedroom). she LOVES taking pictures & posing, she’ll always look at the camera when you get it out like she is really fascinated by it

Entry #95 Cody Toots - My 7 ˝ year old ferret, Cody Toots. He was diagnosed with Lymphoma and Adrenal disease in 2005 and lived far past his years. He just recent passed away on 7.5.08. He was such an awesome ferret and brought such joy to my life. This is a picture of him begging for love and attention

Entry #98 Fuca & LL - This is Fuca aka Mama and her brother LL. They both are the only survivors of their litter, born June 2005. Mama was bottle fed being the runt and couldn't yet hold her own until about a week and a half. Mama joined our family in July 2005. LL was originally claimed by a different family at birth, but due to circumstances they could not take him. So we gladly introduced him to our family in March 2006.
